We have summarized the results of our efforts on the focal policy themes for the 2021–2025 period in three two-pagers. The learnings from the three focal policy themes have been incorporated into our new policy and integrated into an internal learning track.

The policy theme Reaching the unreached was used to bring a focus on addressing the persistent gap between those who benefit from development interventions and those who remain excluded despite being intended beneficiaries.

Together with partners, we have explored how climate change affects the most vulnerable, what strengthens their resilience, and how sustainable livelihoods, education and stewardship of creation can go hand in hand.

Value-based system change

Through a systemic approach, we aim to influence the underlying causes of poverty and socioeconomic inequality and to bring people and organisations together across public, private, religious and social domains to achieve lasting change. We do this from our Christian identity in a value driven way, with the aim of contributing to sustainable, just and inclusive change.

Tools for Systemic Change – Case studies and lessons learned

This paper brings together key insights and lessons from six case studies across Africa and Asia, showing how systemic thinking can strengthen long term impact. It introduces practical tools – including the Systemic Change Canvas, Causal Loop Diagramming, Outcome Mapping, and the System Dimension Matrix – to help organisations analyse systems, identify leverage points, and monitor systemic progress.
