Woord en Daad has a new logo! And we would like to tell you more about it.

Woord en Daad connects people and organisations worldwide: NGO’s, educational institutions, entrepreneurs, the (local) government and many more. With all of the knowledge and experience in this network, we set up innovative projects. By doing this we give thousands of people, as creations of God, new hope and opportunities to escape poverty. We are a highly dynamic organization because the world around us is rapidly changing.

Our new logo reflects this: we are connected and committed but also dynamic. Every child, every man and every woman is a valuable part of God’s creation. Therefore – together with you – we offer them support so that they can eventually build up a dignified and independent existence. From a Biblical perspective of righteousness and compassion we seek to contribute towards a sustainable transformation of people in the North and the South.

Collectivity
As fellow human beings created in God’s image, as partner organisations, collectively. This ‘collectivity’ is expressed with two shapes in the logo.

Connection & Commitment
The & sign symbolizes the connection with and commitment to each other. A continuous line emphasizes the unity between everyone involved.

Woord én Daad (Word and Deed)
These two aspects together form a single entity. The design is recognisable and gives the logo a powerful and dynamic appearance.
