The Golden Ear: in 2018 Woord en Daad received the certificate ‘Golden Ear Certified’, a recognition for organizations that score demonstrably well on listening to their customers. Woord en Daad is the first organization for development cooperation in The Netherlands that has been awarded this certificate. Research institute Cericed was impressed by the effect of the project-based approach on the client orientation of the organization. In their report they indicated that this method of working is appealing. This is illustrated by the strong growth of available funding that has been realized since 2016.
