Project à fort Impact Systémique sensible au Genre et à l’Inclusion (PISGI)
Together with the ministry of education we designed the PISGI project, a high systemic impact project intended to significantly improve the results of schools through investing on teachers’ motivation. We use digital solutions to support teachers preparing their courses on a daily basis prior going to classes. Alongside we ensure online pedagogical follow-up by education inspectors. PISGI meets the need of the system to both ensure quality curricula aligned teaching/learning in classroom pedagogical practices and context-based resilience initiatives. This pilot phase starts in May for 12 months covering 5 regions of BFA; with about 30% of the budget funded by local organizations.

Project d’Autonomisation des Ecoles Modèles
Public schools in Burkina Faso are not funded by the government and rely on school fees to operate. The founders are not always well equipped in school management. This autonomation project is a blended intervention where school leadership is trained in participatory leadership for system sustainability and better school results. Good school management, sustainable finance generation and quality results are three results fields targeted by this project through 3 types of interventions:

  1. Parents involving training modules
  2. Sustainable income generating activities
  3. Implementation of a values teaching template.

25 school are performing the project this year without any financial support from INCE-BF.
